Our commitment to protecting your privacy | An important part of the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program is our commitment to maintaining the security, confidentiality and accuracy of all personal information we collect from Ambassadors. The following principles outline our commitment to this.

Collecting personal information | Either before or when we collect personal information, we explain what that information will be used for and ask for your consent for it to be used in those ways - and we'll do our best to ensure that you understand what you are being asked to consent to. We won't collect information beyond what is relevant to the program, and we will not use personal information for anything beyond what you have agreed to.

Disclosing personal information | We will not share personal information we have without your permission. The only exception to this is when we need to share information with a support or service provider in order to carry out the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program. When we disclose information to a third party, we do this on a confidential basis to ensure that the other party handles this information securely and uses it only for the purposes that we and you have authorized. We never make our Ambassadors list available to companies that are not affiliated with the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program.

Protecting personal information | Ambassador information is at all times protected with appropriate safeguards and security measures. We keep personal information only as long as we need it in order to fulfil the purposes for which it was obtained, or as long as you are a participant in the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program; and we do our best to ensure that information we have about each Ambassador is always accurate and up-to-date.

Providing access to personal information | You may at any time inquire about the personal information we have about you. We'll explain what information we have, how we use it, and to whom we may disclose it. If you believe any of the information we have about you is incorrect, you can request that it be changed.

Using personal information | We use Ambassador information, with permission, to provide you with information we think you may be interested in as an Ambassador, such as the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program e-zine, as well as e-mail updates on breaking or exciting Saskatchewan news, events, and business or networking opportunities that may be of interest to you.

Giving and changing your consent | When you enrol in the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program, we ask you to complete a form and indicate your communications preferences and other program options, thereby giving your consent for us to contact you and provide you with the information you have requested. If you wish to change these preferences at any time, just contact us and we will update your preferences. |
