Role of Ambassadors

Ambassadors have a simple task: to share their pride in being Saskatchewan people.

Ambassadors are business people, educators, activists, artists and entertainers, community leaders, students...anyone who has a love of and for Saskatchewan!

Ambassadors are volunteers who promote positive news and attitudes about Saskatchewan to their business contacts, friends and relatives. Ambassadors live in Saskatchewan, or live elsewhere, but many consider the province to be their "home."

Goals of the Program

The goal of the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program is to promote a positive image of Saskatchewan around the world, which can help lead to increased business opportunities for Saskatchewan companies and products.

The Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program provides you with tools to do this. You have access to promotional materials - samples are found in your Ambassador kit - to use at your place of business, in business meetings, at tradeshows, conferences or other events. From time to time, we invite Ambassadors to participate in trade missions or meetings in specific industries, or to be speakers at events that promote Saskatchewan business, culture or industry.

If you are conducting a business meeting, attending or speaking at a conference, festival, or other event, or if you frequently deal with customers from outside the province, we encourage you to mention some of the great things about living, working and playing in Saskatchewan.

If you are planning to attend an industry event that you think the Government of Saskatchewan, municipal governments, regional economic development associations, chambers of commerce or other Ambassadors might benefit from, just let us know. Or, if you think a particular Saskatchewan company or product might flourish in your area, contact us so we can put together a delegation to investigate the opportunity.

Promoting Saskatchewan benefits us all, and it just makes good business sense.
